- Technology
- When magic is used in an industrial form, it ceases to be seen as magic and is seen as mundane technology. If a telekinetic action is duplicated so that every person can do it, such as sending a letter using electric impulses over copper wires at the will of the user, then it becomes a technology. All technology began its life as a form of magic, in this world and in others. When humans figure out how to send fire across vast distances by combining stone, wood, and alchemy, it’s called a gun. When a single wizard is the only one who knows this hidden knowledge (the meaning of occult) it is known as a wand.
